Refrigerant Air Dryers
Air treatment
Why refine compressed air?
The damaging and corrosive properties of water are well known. Untreated air at atmospheric pressure contains large amounts of water and other contaminants such as oil droplets and dirt particles. When the air is compressed the concentration of moisture and other contaminants increases. If allowed to remain in the system this corrosive mixture has a detrimental effect on pneumatic equipment, causing unnecessary production downtime, product spoilage and reduced equipment life.
Compressed air filters remove the oil and dirt content while compressed air dryers remove water vapour before air reaches the point of use.
F-Series refrigerant air dryers
The air flows of CompAir's F-series dryers have been carefully matched to the requirements of the CompAir range of compressors, ensuring optimum performance, and guaranteed dew points. Environmentally friendly refrigerant and insulation are standard across the range.
FH Series
F4H to F30H Models are for flow rates upto 3m 3 /min and pressures upto 16 bar. F40H-F1100H are for flow rates upto 110m 3 /min and pressures upto 12 bar. A modulating hot-gas bypass valve ensures optimum dew point control under all operating conditions. The pressure actuated control immediately reacts to variations in air flow guaranteeing the dew point.
FT Series
The FT Series from CompAir goes step further. With it unique energy-saving TS technology, it combines respect for the environment with the opportunity for significant reductions in running costs compared to a conventional refrigeration type dryer. They perfo rm within a wide range of ambient and compressed air temperatures, giving optimum performance whatever the application.
