CompAir desiccant air dryers utilise the most up to date technology, to give pressure dew points of -40 o C as standard and by appropriate flow de-rating -70 o C; a vital requirement for industries demanding the ultimate in air quality. Desiccant dryers work on the principle of adsorption of water vapour through a desiccant bed.
The basis of the unique construction is a bed of desiccant material in a pair of chambers. The beds are used and regenerated in an alternating sequence. Two operation systems are available, they differ in the method of drying - or regenerating the desiccant material. Heatless version utilise a percentage of the dried air (purge) for regeneration.
Heat regenerative versions use electrically operated heater discs to supplement a reduced purge air to provide more efficient regeneration. A modular design give total installation flexibility to match specific customer requirements.
